About Justine

Hi! I'm Justine. And I'm glad you're here.

I'm a personal trainer and nutrition coach who believes that the goal is to enjoy life, and your workouts and nutrition should support that.

As a trainer, I want to help you move better and get stronger so you're physically able to do all the things you want to do. I'll work with you to address range of motion and imbalances so you can stay healthy while doing the things you love. If you're already a fitness buff, I bet I can teach you some new tricks to take your skills, and your fitness, to the next level.

My career as a fitness professional began in the group exercise studio...actually the dance studio, where I taught Zumba anytime and anywhere I could get hired! I love the magic of group fitness, when the music is amazing, the energy in the room is incredible, and you can just lose yourself in the movement.

Because fitness IS for everyone, and it's not about how you look, it's about how you feel.

I didn't always believe that. Magazines, tv, and culture in general sold me the idea that being thin and lean was desirable, and I bought it, hook, line, and sinker. I started looking for cellulite on my thighs at 16 and started exercising to prevent the Freshman 15 before college. In college I began "eating healthy," and it took me years to learn that being obsessed with food, calories, and working out is not healthy. That's something many people -- including personal trainers and nutrition coaches -- still fail to realize. We all deserve better.

My passion is to help people reclaim their lives from the endless cycle of dieting and exercise, so they can live full and truly healthy lives -- however they define it.

As a Precision Nutrition Level 1 Certified Nutrition Coach, I'll teach you the tools and skills to make well-balanced nutritional choices. Nothing's off limits and there are no rules. Everyone's different, and I'll help you develop a way of eating that supports your lifestyle and is sustainable long-term.

(**Note, I am NOT a registered dietitian. If you are looking for a customized meal plan, medical nutritional therapy, or support for an eating disorder, it's important that you work with an R.D. I am, however, happy to provide support and accountability implementing and following any plan or guidelines they provide.)

I'm passionate about food (especially eating it) and about working out, I know there are SO many other aspects of life. Movement and nutrition are just tools to help you be your best in all those other endeavors.
